Thank you for your praise and encouragement from the “2018 Survey for Improving Medical Library Services”. We will make every effort to improve our library to become a ‘My Library’.
Collectibles / Subscriptions
Q. Please provide a quick e-book of medical books.
A. Newly published e-books are checked from time to time. We’ll check it more often and provide you with the main books quickly.
Q. Please provide the same kind of e-books as those provided by the KINS.
A. The medical library is not subscribed to by the budget and collection policy. Employees who are employed at the medical center can register with the library through the medical library.
Q. Please provide more books in various fields. Please purchase additional books that have a lot of reservations.
A. Liberal Books are selected by user-requested books, best sellers, and standard books. They are limited to space and have up to three books. If you apply for the book you need, I will buy it as much as possible.
Q. I would like to have library books in academic libraries.
A. Please note that the space of the medical library is limited and it can not be equipped with all literary books. In order to supplement this, we provide library service for academic information sources and ID registration service for academic information sources.
Q. I would like to have books faster and have more new books.
A. When a new book is published, even if there is an old version, it is provided according to the policy. Please apply through the application form. We will check the availability of new releases more often.
Q. Periodically, if you have a low utilization rate, please stop subscribing and provide more Journal.
A. Once a year, we check the usage rate of all academic journals and select high-demand journals. If you apply for “Serial Publication” or “DB” in the application for purchase of data, you will be considered as a candidate for subscription.
Q. I can not open the original text of the journal, or I can not search the data.

Q. My mobile homepage is slow.
A. We have reduced the homepage capacity to improve the speed. The first time you connect your mobile homepage, it takes about 1 second to load the image file. Once you have connected, you can use it quickly.
Q. The design / function of the homepage is inconvenient. We propose new design / function.
A. We are reviewing all the features and design possibilities you have proposed, and implemented some functions such as “move my library folder”. We appreciate your understanding that we can not reflect all the suggestions and we will continue to reflect your suggestions through Q & A or mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Q. It’s too complicated to find the information you want.
A. In order to find the information you want more easily and quickly, we are planning a website and information search video lecture. We will continue design improvement and content development to solve complexity.
Q. Please make it easy to connect the suburbs and increase the login time.
A. Out-of-network access services are greatly influenced by the number of concurrent users. As a result, we keep the login time to 30 minutes, and we will have to go through individual authentication procedures.
Q. Please log in and search materials with academic information.
A. It has different system, network, and security policy. If there is any change in communication between the school and the medical center, we will actively promote it.
Q. Please install an unauthorized book loan / return box.
A. It is reflected in the budget for next year. I will install according to whether it is confirmed.
Q. Please install new corner.
A. Most new books will be borrowed immediately. In order to install the new corner, it is difficult to purchase one additional book that can not be borrowed. Instead, we are guiding you through the loan return desk at the new books available for loan.
Q. Open on weekends or at night.
A. We are in the best possible position within the given workforce.
Q. The late fee is too expensive. I would like you to extend the loan period.
A. It has been decided by the Medical Library Committee for a limited number of books. If the book is overdue, it will be reviewed by the committee.
Q. Please make your education courses more varied and open the time.
A. We open new educational courses every year. In 2018, we opened an additional literature search strategy, research ethics and submission courses. E-book use, Homepage tip, etc. We are preparing to be able to view it anytime and anywhere. If you are having difficulty attending regular training, please contact email@example.com. Customized training (5 or more applicants) is also available.
Q. I would like you to revise the curriculum.
A. It is reflected in the budget for next year. We will pursue it according to whether it is confirmed.
Q. I would like you to revise the paper formatting service again.
A. We are unable to provide proofreading services due to labor problems. We are currently focusing on analyzing research papers.
Q. Please make the service faster and kinder.
A. We will train internal staff.
Q. Please give more promotions and events.
A. We will continue to promote new methods and events.
Q. The medical library is difficult to visit.
A. We are planning to install an unmanned return device in the hospital building, and we will produce the contents of the guide about the route.
Q. There are lots of noises such as keyboard knocking, radiator sound.
A. We will attach a “chungsuk” guide to the reading room, shelf, and PC seats. Noise from the facility will be requested once more to the facility team.
Q. The facility is very poor.
A. The medical library building improvement is to be carried out in accordance with the entire new construction plan of the medical center. Old age facilities will continue to be partially supplemented.
Q. I need a space where I can read books a little more comfortably, and a self-study room for graduate students and the general public.
A. If the building of the medical library is improved, we will expand the space and learning space that can be used comfortably by reflecting opinions.
Q. I do not like the cleanliness of my desk because there is a lot of dust, odor and ventilation.
A. We will check our cleanliness more frequently and ask our facilities and cleaning department to keep them in an optimal condition.
Q. My computer is often broken or slow. Monitor is small.
A. In 2018, we have replaced all PCs with the latest models, and we are checking the PCs every day to fix the problem PCs. We will replace the old monitor in the next year’s budget and we will change it immediately. If you have any problems while using the PC, please contact us at 02-2228-2913.
Q. I do not recognize the entrance gate staff.
A. I set the card reader sensitivity at the entrance to the maximum. If the bar code is located on the semi-transparent side of the employee’s case, try turning it on the transparent side. If the bar code of employee’s employee is blurred or erased, please re-issue it.
